Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet messes in one time and without the need to switch devices. They can also help save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bins and refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads using an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer for its relatively affordable price and is one of the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual can get you running in no time with an entire dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and vacuums well too. The mops are spun at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
You can, for example ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too, with the robot being able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only issue it has is that it can crash into walls and objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the cleaning history within the app will show you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed, and which obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station features an LCD display that shows the time when maintenance is required for cleaning up debris and rinsing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner, using a 600ml eufy solution.
vacuum bot and mop are able to run for a long time and the mop is able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand although we would like to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop and vacuum clean when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop, is the newest version. This year's model has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This enhances the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to remove fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tried, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to helps to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by adding a dual camera which can recognize objects and determine whether they're an object that is a wall or a different surface. It can then automatically change its direction and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also packed with features. Its sleek angular design is striking, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is an industry leader with innovative features, superior suction power and cutting-edge mowing capabilities. Its innovative design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while saving you time.

In addition the X40 is very quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of noise when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, which allows it to get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture such as table and chairs' legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings, making it an excellent choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush also automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots, which is a nice addition that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by repeated back-andforth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to skip areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors or vice versa. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is intuitive and user-friendly, and the X40's smart features are easy to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps, and control mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to keep clean and has many features which make it a good option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, then refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is filled and notify you before it overflows, thus reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available and comes with many additional features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles, and clean up spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This feature is great as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a useful way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There are many options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a number of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also offers several features that aren't offered on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots on this list - at 4kg but it's not too heavy, and feels robust and well built. The mopping system is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
